Artist Statement
My work has evolved over the year in series, each with distinct qualities, yet with an intimate relationship to one another. I’m motivated by a heightened awareness of dualities in the world and use the language of abstraction to explore connections and disconnections between my inner life and the external world. Evidence of the natural world hatches out in my mark. I’ll be showing drawings, paintings, sculpture, digital prints, mixed-media and works that combine paintings and steel.
