Heidi Abramson
As an abstract painter deeply influenced by Gerhard Richter, my art explores the dynamic interplay between color, texture, and emotional depth. I aim to capture the fleeting essence of memory and perception through my work. Employing tools like palette knives, squeegees, trowels, and brushes, I blend vivid colors with layered textures to create a visceral experience. This invites viewers to embrace the spontaneity and unpredictability inherent in the medium. The vibrant layers of acrylic paint are meticulously applied and transformed, reaching a resonance of depth and complexity. Through this artistic journey, I strive to evoke an emotional response and question traditional representation.
