About

Over the past three years, Norm has created a body of work that examines time from various perspetives. One abstract series tries to imagine what (non-scientific) personal time expansion or contraction might look like. Another larger series looks at the idea of time being broken down into parts. And currently a series of prints called Attachment Strings is in the works.
Norm began printmaking studies in 2014 at Berkeley City College after a long career working for the Sutter Hospital System.
He's been in 5 group shows since 2014, and was the last president of the Digital Artist Collective of Berkeley City College for the years 2018 and 2019. He as been a Print room assistant for the past two years, as well as having his own full time studio for the past two years. He uses a large format Epson printer. Inks are said to be museum quality and he uses various kinds of museum quality papers.
