Guillermo Navarrete Davis
Guillermo Navarrete Davis is an indigenous Latino and self-taught painter from Santiago de Chile. He draws inspiration from the visionary works of Dali, Klimt, and the Great Impressionists. With an unwavering commitment to excellence and beauty, his art embodies a continuous pursuit of growth and mastery.
His oil paintings invite viewers into a world of richness and detail, brought to life through a refined technique of layering wet oils on canvas. This method, reminiscent of ancient traditions, allows Guillermo to create textures and hues that evoke both depth and vibrancy.
Specializing in portraiture, his work focuses on the often overlooked stories of marginalized people. The realism, the purity, and the sincerity of the sentiment expressed in the faces of his subjects are his source of inspiration. Each of his works tells a story, revealing the raw truth and enduring depth of the human condition.
