Todd Gilens

I am a visual artist working in writing, drawing and photography, and creating unique, site-specific projects for public and private spaces. Through commissions and self-initiated projects, I have made artworks for transit systems, botanical gardens, arts and conference centers, factories, wilderness areas, private gardens and living rooms, among other places. My current work links urban water with mountain streams through the ways water shapes our land and lives.

My studio is a laboratory for working out ideas and exploring materials and forms. From these experiments projects emerge and develop, often over several years. The scene is always changing; please stop by to see what's going on!
