Stephen Gerstman

I have painted for many years. Throughout my career in the music business I have expressed my creativity through visual art. I've had shows in the Bay Area, open studios, as well as an on-line gallery. My work has a feel of outsider art, art brut. Most of it is figurative, but seldom literal. I love using vibrant colors. Sometimes it can be whimsical, sometimes disturbing. I also love the aura & surface created by oil paint, like brush strokes and palimpsest.
