SCOTT R HOLLOWAY : A RETROSPECTIVE
Scott started painting when his mother handed him a brush to keep him quiet so she could paint. After a chaotic and mobile childhood, he was finally able to put down roots in Oakland in 1977. His search for Meaning led him not only to painting, but also to ceramics, theater, printmaking, photography, and dance. The Work contains the process of his search for Peace and Meaning. His works have been exhibited in several shows in the East Bay, San Francisco, and Santa Fe. Scott is also a gardener and landscape designer, and includes himself as a member of the LGBTQ+, Buddhist, and Parkinson’s communities. This show will contain pieces from 1977–2024.
