Rich Fowler

Rich Fowler is a printmaker based in El Cerrito, California. Most of his current work involves linocut printing techniques and the use of color and patterning. He’s drawn to the tactile process of hand carving linoleum as well as the anticipation of peeling the paper off the inked block to see the resulting print. His artwork, often known by his studio name Boarding All Rows, can be found in private collections around the US and abroad. Rich teaches and writes about linocut online, does public block printing demonstrations from time to time, and has been a member of the California Society of Printmakers since 2014.
