Peggy Cotton

I paint because I am a believer that art is a societal need which must hold its place in the world as an aesthetic to be shared by the masses, not only the elite. I paint because I am an advocate for the perpetuation and distribution of artistic imagery that speaks in all languages, regardless of interpretations. I paint because I am the courier who delivers visual goods that nourish that something within -- a hunger to care about and a witness to experience their own forgotten value.
