Green Chile Woodworks started as an experiment – a way for me to better develop craft and patience, while making fabulous messes. It’s become a much bigger adventure – immersing myself in the joy of creating playful functional objects.

Originally from Southern Colorado, Teresa Hernandez has been woodworking and repurposing found objects for 6+ years. Since moving to the Bay Area, she’s worn a few different hats. Teresa’s been a graffiti photographer, stage manager and technician, and admirer of industrial design. Her most recent work draws inspiration from the traditions of her family and deep New Mexican roots.
