David Miller

I was born in San Francisco, and grew up running around in the hills of Pt. Reyes National Seashore. Most of my life has been spent in the Greater Bay Area. My paintings and drawings express my deep connection to this beautiful land, and my fascination with the play of light and weather across the forms of the land.

I paint en plein air whenever possible, combining the passions of hiking and art. Studio paintings and drawings are done from sketches and photos that I have taken.
