Open Studio Hours May 13/14 and May 20/21 11am-5pm

As a child in a small, rural New England town, my family exposure to art was color-books and crayons! I feel I was guided by the Universe when I became friends in high school with a young woman who came from a family of artists. It opened my eyes to possibilities. As a result, I went to the Philadelphia College of Art and spent over 18 years in the Graphic Design field. When my children were young, I rented an art studio in Berkeley and have been exploring my own expression ever since.

My present series is called “Breaking the Boundaries”. Floating leaves break the boundary of the canvas and rise up the wall. It encourages all to break any self-imposed boundaries, to allow their natural talents to flourish, and to rise to a vision of what is possible. Nature dominates my work.

I also do paintings on furniture and floorcloths. A floorcloth is a durable, painted canvas used as a floor covering. Custom work is welcome.
