Mojgan Saberi

I create my art with metaphors and images that form in my mind from different fragments in life. Lucid poetry, nature's intricacy, and its complex relations to human interactions are integral part of my inspirations. I like to conceive and explore my ideas from dreamlike context and transform them to a tangible form of art, resulting in vibrant colors, shapes, scenery, and moods. I express my passion for nature and life in Kiln-formed Glass Art, Painting and Photography.
I graduated with a degree in Art and Architecture from Southern California Institute of Architecture. I have practiced as an architectural designer and artist in California since 1992. I teach glass fusing at the Crucible in Oakland. My glass art and paintings have been shown in the Bay Area as well as East Coast galleries, and the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum.
